3 – Excursion: African Community on Lantau Island

Being a person of color comes with certain prejudices in Hongkong. Adapting to it, without denying the own identiy, calls for creative strategies. The African Community found its enclave and safe haven on Lantau Island. A green and lush paradise next to Hongkong Island and only a 30 minutes ferryride away from the bustling city.
